I hope you were all able to enjoy family time together wherever you were during Winter vacation.
I'm looking forward to seeing you and your 4th grader - as well as all the kids this week. With this blog post is the January HW Calendar, a copy of Ashrei (we are now working on the opening verses). I've also included the Ashrei transliterated so that you can help your child.
The copy of Ashrei also has a QR code for each line so that your child can listen to Ken chant it slowly and accurately.
One thing you will notice, and I will go over this with the kids this week, is that HW every Thursday night is to call the Google Voice number. When your child calls they should read/sing/chant what they worked on during the week - and of course say their name. This will make our time in class most efficient as I will be able to help each student with exactly what they need help with.
