We hope you all had a wonderful break, and it is so exciting
to be back just in time for Purim!
This week in the 6th and 7th grade
Tuesday/Wednesday class, we collectively retold the Purim story, and then
thought about all the ways the different characters stood up for something.
Following this discussion, we brainstormed and shared personal stories about
when we have stood up for other people. We connected our personal stories to
the stories of the Purim characters, applying our modern experiences to this
aspect of Jewish history.
We hope to see you all tomorrow at Temple Israel for the
Purim festivities!
